FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Paint for the protection and decoration of metal eyeglass frames. Suitable as protective agent for brass artifacts and general galvanic substrates (handles, fashion accessories, etc.). It can be mixed in any ratio with 820011 gloss paint to achieve different degrees of opacity.

PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

The substrate should be free of any kind of surface contaminants, (lubricant, traces of oxidation, residues of waxes or polishing pastes, residues of substances from galvanic baths, etc.) so it should be treated with appropriate cleaning methods.

PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT:

Mix thoroughly and dilute as below: Comp. A : 820006 100 parts by weight Diluent : 00680 40 - 50 parts by weight Suitable for electrostatic application. In special cases, such as to eliminate the effects of distension, peel and bubble formation, replace part of the thinner with retardant 10304R.

RECOMMENDED THICKNESS:

10 - 15 micron dry NOTE: If necessary, the paint can be colored with our 50100M series color concentrates in the rate of 3% max. referred to 100 parts of undiluted paint, or with P.EP series augmented pastes (max. 5%). Larger additions are also possible, however, we recommend preliminary testing of the suitability of the complete cycle before moving to industrial-scale production.
