PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

Clearcoat 701W00002 is to be applied on intermediates (our water-based acrylic series) or on a clean, dust-free matte base coat. The use of a dust-fixing cloth is recommended. It is, however, characterized by good direct adhesion on metal.

PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT:

Comp. A: 701W00002 100 parts by weight 4 parts by volume Comp. B: CZW707 25 parts by weight 1 part by volume Diluent: Demineralized water 10 - 15 parts by weight 0,5 - 0,75 parts by volume Before diluting, mix components A and B well to a homogeneous consistency and color. Application viscosity 18” - 22” FORD 4 at 20 °C.

POT-LIFE AT 20 °C

1 hour 30’, the pot-life decreases at higher temperature. Under no circumstances should product that has exceeded pot-life limits be applied, as films would not offer sufficient chemical resistance adhesion. (1) Drying at room temperature for 45 minutes. (2) Do not exceed the recommended thicknesses.

RECOATING:

Wet-on-wet or at most after 1 hour at A.T., or after complete curing. When the film is fully cured, light sanding is recommended to ensure good adhesion of the finishing coat.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

The storage room should be dry, out of sunlight and with a temperature between +10°C and +25°C.
