PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Two-component paint made of dispersion of metallic aluminum in solvent and special resins. The innovative formulation of the EFT series finishes makes it possible to obtain coatings with final mechanical and chemical characteristics that do not require repainting with protective clear coats. Good surface hardness.

END USES:

Objects, cosmetics, furnishings, appliances, handicrafts and products in general designed for indoor use.

SUBSTRATE PRE-TREATMENT:

The pre-treatment of the substrate depends on the type of filler used. The product can be applied directly on some plastic materials such as, for example, ABS or ABS + PC. For metal substrates, the application of a suitable primer is recommended, preferably gloss black (to improve the metallic effect).

PRODUCT PRE-TREATMENT:

The paint should always be shaken before use. Comp. A : EFT. 100 parts by weight Comp. B : CZ.678 on plastic 5 parts by weight Or : CZ.711 on metal (1) 5 parts by weight (1) In the case of application on metal (such as for example polished and/or brushed aluminum or polished steel), it is necessary to add 3% by weight of Z.287. Repainting with a 2K final protective product is recommended. For detailed information regarding the direct application of EFT on metal, it is advisable to contact our Caldart Research & Development laboratory. After catalysis, the product is ready for use. To improve surface hardness and scratch resistance, we recommend adding 1 - 2% of Z.070.

RECOATABILITY:

In case you want to increase the abrasion resistance or more generally the chemical-physical resistance of the film, it is possible to cover it with 2K acrylic paints like our glossy 701.00020 or 701.00015 or the matt 704.00020.
