FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Decorative enamel with micaceous effect for furniture, fixtures, metal carpentry.

RECOMMENDED FUNDS:

Quick-drying one-component water-based acrylic or synthetic primers for ferrous metal surfaces, Epoxy primer on galvanized aluminum surfaces

PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

Iron surfaces: Thoroughly remove all traces of rust, calamine, grease and moisture. Old paints with poor adhesion should be removed by sanding. Apply one or two coats of primer (our 494WR7035). After about 24 hours, apply the finish of water-based synthetic Micalux WB enamel. Galvanized aluminum surfaces: We recommend the application of one coat of Series 193 or Series 193W Epoxy primer, followed by water-based Micalux.WB

PREPARATION OF THE PRODUCT:

Mix product KW644 with PW series Water-based Tinters in a ratio of 95/5, until uniform color and consistency. Add pastes from the PW series following the formulation of the chosen color (see Micalux Color Chart, available on request). By brush dilute with 3% to 5% water. By spray dilute with 5% - 10% water.

RECOATING:

After at least 24 hours. For product obtained by industrial WB Tinting System, repaint wet-on-wet or within 4 to 6 hours, or 2 to 3 weeks after the first coat.
